Manolo Puerto, a Colombian entrepreneur born in Bogotá, with 30 plus yeas of experience in the entertainment industry.

At the age of 12 he established his own band where he played Congas, “Caja Vallenatas”, Timbal and Bongo. Artists such as, Cortejo y su Combo, Tito Rodriguez, Tito Puente and more influenced his career towards the Antillana genre, currently known as Salsa during the 60s.

He staring to undertake his own journeys, starting in the United States.
In 1965, he arrived in Washington D.C. with his heart full of expectations, his music roots pull him to New York City, where he begins to perform his first shows with local bands in known clubs.

In 1976 with his new band ”EL EQUIPO” The Band earns a recognized title in all South Florida local entrepreneurs began to contact the band to perform in bars and clubs of Miami.

“EL EQUIPO” gained such success that Manolo Puerto Productions decided to expand the band, gathering more musicians and improving the sound of each show.
Manolo Puerto retire as a musician and founds Manolo Puerto Productions implementing more bands how: GROOVE REPUBLIK Y EL KARTELL, some of the bands have shared stage with El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, El Grupo Niche, and los Hermanos Rosario among others.

The bands gained quick recognition in the industry for their versatility, the professionalism, and variety of styles such as Latin-Pop, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, vallenato and beyond.

Manolo Puerto Productions has been characterized for working since 1985 and experience of realized more of 900 weddings, Manolo gives its customers a unique experience for each event, any kind of celebration they desire, and most important fulfilling their highest expectations.
